AURIA Solar was founded in Oct. 2007, a pure manufacturer of Micromorph (Tandem cell with Amorphous plus Microcrystalline) panels, using Oerlikon's turnkey production facilities. AURIA aims to provide not only the environment friendly solar PV modules also the technical support, cost competitive products and reliable solutions for our valued customers. AURIA engages in becoming a world-class silicon-based thin film solar module manufacturer for grid-parity. AURIA makes 1.1m x 1.3 m panels and currently sells Micromorph modules to system integrators and the utility in Germany, Spain, France, Italy, U.S. and so on.

In the next three years, AURIA plans to expand total capacity to 200MW, 350MW, and 500MW by the end of 2009, 2010, and 2011 respectively, whereas AURIA expects its Micromorph modules to reach efficiency of 9% and 10% by the end of 2009 and 2010 separately.

Currently, AURIA is running the largest single production line of Micromorph thin film modules around the world, up to 60MW. On top of that, to help reducing energy consumption and green house problems and to provide much better lives to all people in the world are our missions.
